Drawing Hope: Children's art for peace is a global peace initiative that delivers messages of hope through children's artwork for intergenerational dialogue.
This exhibition is in collaboration with Okedongmu Children in Korea, an organisation dedicated to transforming conflict into a peaceful future on the Korean peninsula. The exhibition has recently been shown at the UN in New York. It includes drawings from children living in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the Republic of Korea, Colombia, South Africa, Cambodia, Ireland, USA, Japan, and China.
The Drawing Hope website has more information about the project. We hope children in Britain will see the exhibition and wish to contribute their own drawings of hope for peace.
There will be a launch event in the evening on Tuesday 3 March.
The exhibition and launch are free to attend.
