Our bookshop

We have been open to the public since 1926 (first as a Quaker Library and later as a Quaker Centre Bookshop) at Friends House, a Grade II listed building, right opposite Euston Station in London.

Our bookshop is in an open space where you can enjoy the Seed cafe and have access to a wide range of books about Quakerism, ethical living, activism, world religions, peace, sustainability, and other related topics, including a sizable children's section. Other products include merchandise and Quaker outreach resources are available in our shop.

Following Quaker values, we practice equality, peace, truth, justice, and simplicity, which make our space very special, with a peaceful environment where everyone is welcome.
