This is a great book. It draws on the authors' deep and wide knowledge of the science and psychology of climate and ecology, and their spiritual wisdom and experience , and is accessible and well-written.
Most of us know that 'business as usual' on our planet is changing or will change the ecology reaches its limits and that unless we address the issues urgently and radical rapidement breakdown will follow. Indeed it may already be too late. This book explores why so many of us fail to take action, and how we might. First we need to recognise and mourn what is being lost, and to open our imaginations to new possibiities for the future, and the book shows some ways to do that, alone and with others, to be part of "the Great Turning" that is happening all around us. It's empowering and encourages us to act, to be part of the hope for the future on our fragile planet.
