Gemini Four

The fourth volume by an informal group of poets which has been publishing together for nearly 40 years. The Gemini Poets appeared in 1972 when the contributors were in their late teens and early 20s. Gemini Four appears 38 years later: the contributors are now in their late 50s and early 60s. The world has changed profoundly and the poets themselves have led different lives and faced different challenges. They react to these in equally different ways - through formal and informal verse, wry humour and deeply felt thought. Yet this variety touches real concerns they have in common.
