Daisy, Ella, Vincent and Oscar are 11 years old and during their summer holiday they get together to build an allotment shed. They soon become involved in a secret mission to help save the honeybees. On their journey they meet 102 year old Mrs Woodcock, Itsuro, a Buddhist monk, a wise woman called Jay and Professor Ezra who all share the same spiritual message: when humans pursue money at the expense of destroying the balance of nature, we in turn risk losing our compassion for the weak and the vulnerable.
